Outgoing Wire Transfers

In addition to providing personal and corporate wire payment services, Calforex wire transfer department can also quickly process US Dollar (USD) transfers. USD transactions can be processed on the same day if the payment and wire details are received in good order prior to our cut off times. Calforex charges a flat fee for this service which varies depending on currency and final destination of the funds. Please be aware that a variable fee may be added by another financial institution involved in the transaction process, however this usually is quite nominal.

Wire transfers are generally received to the account of the recipient 1-3 business days if sent to the United States and Canada, and 3-7 business days for wires outside of Canada and the United States. Based on feedback received from clients, wires sent by Calforex are often received sooner than anticipated. Please note, there is a minimum of $1000 CAD to wire USD and any other foreign currency.

For clients with recurring wire payments, Calforex can assist by collecting all relevant information and keeping it on file. Clients can request to receive wire confirmations either by fax or email.
